My name is Ben Tackett, born and raised in Erath County. I am a Graduate of Tarleton State University (TSU), located in Stephenville, TX. I obtained my Bachelor of Business Administration in Management degree in 2019. Graduating with a 3.8 GPA and making the Dean’s List every year. I am an alumni member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity, Kappa Xi Chapter at TSU. My high school Alma-mater is Stephenville High School, having graduated there in 2016, with honors and in the top 7% of my class. I was an all-district left guard playing football all 4 years. My hobbies include hunting, fishing, and watching sports. I enjoy hunting dove, deer and varmints, but my favorite type of hunting is hogs. One of my passion is deep sea fishing, but I like to fish for bass and catfish on many area ponds and lakes. As for sports, it would have to be watching baseball and football. I really like going to see the Texas Rangers play. If you ask me about music, well that would have to be Texas country genre. I served on the Bluff Dale Volunteer Fire Department from 2014-2015 and on the Stephenville Planning and Zoning Committee, alternate member 2017-2018. I aspire to become a Broker and have my own agency. I became a Texas Licensed Real Estate at the age of 18 (minimum age). Working together with my mom, helps me gain great experience and knowledge of the legalities, paper work, customer service and many other aspects of real estate transactions. It is preparing me for a successful future in real estate. Becoming involved in commercial real estate, if possible, once I learn the ins-and-outs of residential real estate, is of great interest to me. Another one of my goals will be acquiring investment properties, once I develop enough capital to do so through real estate.
