There are a number of fabulous attractions in Bluff Dale, including the old Bluff Dale Suspension Bridge, which may be the oldest cable-stayed bridge design in the country. The bridge was built to cross the Paluxy River and opened to the public in 1891.

The Bluff Dale Tabernacle was built in 1906, and it’s still in use today. The Old Public Water Well (TX3786), which is still in use as well, was dug in the late 1880s by the Fort Worth Rio Grande Railroad.
