About Aledo, TX
With a little over 2 square miles of land, the cozy little town of Aledo is home to around 2,700 people. Just 20 miles outside of Fort Worth, it’s the oldest city in Parker County. With roots as a small farming settlement, Aledo incorporated in 1963.
Aledo grew quickly in the 1990s, and it now boasts a wide array of modern conveniences and utility services. Despite its growth, this charming town managed to maintain much of its historic charm. Residents prize its quaint, rural atmosphere, which is rare so close to Fort Worth.
